"Having learned about Mari through a mutual friend, I went to see her for a Reiki treatment. Upon meeting Mari, her kind, gentle, caring and gracious manner allowed me to feel very comfortable. Following the session and the positive energy I experienced, I knew immediately this is the Reiki teacher I was seeking. "

"I thoroughly respect the teachings by the way Mari taught them. The history was enlightening, the course work understandable, the practical work was enough to gain skills and follow through after the course. I am absolutely amazed, humbled and honored to have experienced the force, subtlety and healing of the Universal Energy, and am sure that Mari’s skill and purity were responsible for the delivery of this gift, both in my chance to have it pass through me to heal others, and receiving it my self. "Mari Okazaki has changed my life. Her clear and beautiful vision of the world, kind heart, and incredible devotion to Jikiden Reiki with Mari are all amazing. She shares her gifts generously with others, and is always a support, loving friend. She's gentle, but strong. She's creative, but organized. She has a wonderful way of bringing others together. I also love her cooking, her style, the way that her house smells, her handsoap, her Reiki room and her piano playing. She's someone who can do anything that she puts her mind to, and her intelligence and friendly smile light up my life. She gave me Reiki all through my pregnancy, and to Julian when he was little too. She even brought me goodies and came and visited me when I was a new and very lonely Mama. She's just the BEST!"

"For those of you that are currently or aspiring reiki practionners or energy workers or interested in healing that is rooted and ancient and on the path of rememberance and decolonization
I do not subscribe to the language of Reiki Master but if I were to, Mari is a true living reiki master right here in Sólh Téméxw/Chilliwack and I highly recommend Dai Shihan Teacher, Mari Okazaki
It is a deep privilege and honour to receive the teachings from a living carrier of ancient Japanese reiki, not western reiki, but the original undiluted reiki rooted in Shinto origins and culture and a direct and close lineage to Sensei Mikao Usui
I have had a relationship with reiki for over a decade and received different attunements through a different schools many years ago but felt the call to unlearn the entanglement and mix of western practices and relearn the way reiki was intended to be shared and practiced.
Deeply grateful and honored to be in service as a carrier, practitionner of Jikiden Reiki and student of Mari
